Fullstack Software Engineer
This is my current professional role. I enjoy working in both front-end and back-end development as it allows me to plan the entire spectrum of new features. This approach gives me a clear and precise understanding of both the technical and business logic that surrounds the feature’s context. By working across the entire stack, I can better anticipate challenges, streamline the development process, and ensure that the final product is aligned with broader project goals.

Transitioning here after working as a back-end developer, this role brought exciting new challenges. I found myself more engaged with modern design patterns that bind both the lower-level and higher-level architecture of a front-end application. This role allowed me to explore a more modern style of dynamic programming, focusing less on the finer details of the overall system business logic.

This was my first role in my software development career where I focused on refining the more detailed aspects of the companies business logic while applying key design patterns from my computer science education. I was able to work on features that perform statistical aggregation, encapsulate U.S. legal requirements on a state-by-state basis, and utilise time-based event handling. This experience provided a strong foundation for my career.

Sneaker Society (Under Construction)
In an attempt to walk the line between a functional e-commerce website and a generously animated marketing page, I conceptualised a website called Sneaker Society. The entire premise revolves around the user shopping for sneakers categorised by style. The website is to adjust the look and feel to match the category. Avoiding disruption of user familiarity and branding throughout design and development is a key goal and a challenge I am excited to conquer.
